When a Metin2 player experiences constant lag, the cause is usually related to the connection or the route to Gameforge’s servers. Here are practical steps to fix it:

• Check your connection: use https://www.speedtest.net to test speed and ping. For smooth gameplay, you need at least a stable 10 Mbps connection and a ping under 80 ms.

• Use a wired connection: if you’re on Wi-Fi, switch to Ethernet. Wireless networks often cause intermittent latency.

• Close background programs: stop downloads, streaming services, or VPNs while playing — they can saturate your bandwidth.
