My Daughter Got Severe Infection At MC Arancia Resort Hotel Due to Poor Hygiene

We stayed at the MC Arancia Resort in Alanya from June 10 to 16, 2025. During our stay, my 7-year-old daughter became seriously ill and was hospitalized on the night of June 14. Medical tests revealed a severe infection (diagnosis: A09, CRP 89.84). My daughter and I remained in the hospital from June 14 to 15. Throughout this period, both she and we as parents experienced great stress, and we lost four days of our vacation. There are also publicly available complaints indicating that other guests suffered similar illnesses around the same time, suggesting a serious hygiene problem at the hotel. Additionally, we personally witnessed official health inspectors collecting water samples from the pool, yet the hotel management denied that any inspection took place, showing a lack of transparency. When we contacted customer service, they refused to take responsibility and claimed the incident was isolated. We paid a total of €2,500 for the vacation and another €2,500 for hospital expenses. Due to my daughter’s medical costs and our family’s emotional distress, I am requesting a refund of the hospital fee, compensation for the four lost days, and reimbursement for the suffering we experienced. I expect the hotel to take responsibility and take the necessary corrective actions.
