I Face Unauthorized $242 Charge from Livu App on My Credit Card
On October 20, 2025, I noticed that the Livu app had charged my credit card twice through iOS for a total of $242.01 ($200.28 and $41.73). The card used ends with the digits 4825, and the transaction description reads “livu Hong Kong hk.” These charges were made completely without my knowledge or authorization.
I had previously used the Livu app with different cards, but I never registered or made any payments using my Ziraat Bank card.
As soon as I discovered the issue, I immediately contacted Ziraat Bank. They blocked my card and advised me to file a dispute. Since the transactions are still pending, I’ve been told to wait 24 hours before submitting my official objection.
I expect Livu to investigate these unauthorized transactions and refund the total amount of $242.01 that was wrongfully charged to my card.
