If Lastminute.com put a hold on the money on your card for a canceled flight and hasn't released it yet, you can speed up the return by doing these simple things:

• Get your paperwork together: Keep the confirmation of the reservation, the notice of cancellation, and a copy of the bank record that shows the held charge.

• Get in touch with Lastminute.com: Go to https://www.lastminute.com/ and click on "My Bookings." Then, ask that the banned amount be released right away. Get a picture of your wish.

• Send a formal email: Email [email protected] with your booking number, a copy of the cancellation, and a copy of the bill that shows the amount that was stopped. Ask for proof that the release happened and a clear estimate of when the refund will be sent.
