Instagram Permanently Disabled Without Clear Reason
My personal Instagram account with the username @guru_jjn18 was suspended on 2 January 2025 without any clear explanation or warning. Before this date, I was using the account only for personal purposes, sharing my own photos, daily life moments and communicating with friends and acquaintances. I was not involved in any abusive behaviour, spam, impersonation, hate speech or any activity that I am aware of that violates Instagram’s Community Guidelines. When the suspension happened, I only saw that my account was disabled, but I did not receive any clear information about which specific rule I allegedly violated. There was no prior warning, restriction or temporary block that would indicate a problem before my account was suddenly taken away. Right after the suspension, I followed the instructions on the screen and submitted an appeal, explaining that this is my personal account and asking for a review. I also tried to contact support through the help centre several times. Despite my attempts, I did not receive any reply or meaningful explanation from Meta. After some time, I was informed that my account was permanently disabled, again without any detailed reason or evidence being shared with me. This situation is very upsetting for me because I lost access to my personal memories, messages and contacts that I have built over time on this account. I feel that my account may have been disabled by mistake, or at least without giving me a fair chance to understand and correct any possible issue. I kindly request a thorough manual review of my account and the decision to permanently disable it. I ask that my account be reactivated if no serious and clear violation can be proven, or that I be provided with a detailed explanation of the exact policy or content that supposedly caused this decision. I would like to have a transparent and fair evaluation, and the opportunity to comply with your rules if something was unintentionally done wrong.
