Instagram Account Permanently Closed for Wrong Impersonation Call
My personal Instagram account with the username “aarda***” was permanently closed approximately 6–7 months ago on the grounds of alleged impersonation. I did not receive any prior notification, warning, or detailed explanation by email or in-app message. Only when I tried to log into my profile did I see the notice stating that my account had been permanently closed. This Instagram account has been linked to my Facebook profile, which I have been using for years, and my identity can clearly be verified through that connection and my long-term use. For this reason, I am sure that I am the real owner of the account and that there is no impersonation. I do not accept that this account was involved in impersonation, and I believe this decision was made in error. I request that my account be reviewed in detail and that the impersonation decision be re-evaluated. My clear expectation from Instagram is that my account be reactivated and that my access to the account and its content be restored after a proper review.
