Transactions haven’t shown up in my app after deposit at HDFC Bank branch, why is this happening?

If your cash or cheque deposit at an HDFC Bank branch doesn’t show in the app, it’s often because branch deposits are processed in batches and may not reflect instantly, especially outside banking hours or on weekends.

Cheque deposits in particular can take 1–3 working days depending on clearing cycles.

Sometimes the mobile app lags behind core banking systems, so logging out, refreshing, or checking via NetBanking or ATM balance inquiry can confirm whether the amount is already credited.

If the deposit slip was issued, the transaction usually exists even if the app hasn’t updated yet.
