If Google Meet often lags during meetings, optimizing the settings can improve performance.

First, ensure a stable internet connection by using a wired connection if possible or positioning yourself close to the Wi-Fi router. Then, in Google Meet, click on the three dots in the bottom right corner, select "Settings", and go to "Video". Lower the "Send and Receive Resolution" to 360p or standard definition, which reduces bandwidth usage and helps prevent lag.

Close unnecessary browser tabs and apps running in the background, as they can drain system resources. Switching to the "Chrome browser" and ensuring it’s updated can also enhance compatibility with Google Meet.

If issues persist, disabling video entirely and using audio-only mode may help stabilize your connection.

If none of the above solutions work, please feel free to share your experience. You can also file a complaint on our website.
