Unauthorized Fortnite Charge Appeared on My Card Without My Approval

On February 16, 2026, at 1:59:15 p.m., I noticed an unauthorized e-commerce charge of $18 on my card through a virtual POS transaction listed as *“EPC fortnıte.” I have not made any purchase or transaction related to Fortnite or Epic Games for this amount, and this charge was made entirely without my knowledge or consent.

As soon as I noticed the issue, I contacted my bank, Yapı Kredi, had my card blocked, and filed a charge dispute. Even though 3D Secure is enabled on my card, I am having serious difficulty understanding how a charge could still be processed without my knowledge, and I am deeply concerned about a possible failure in the bank’s security measures.

I request that this unauthorized transaction be canceled and that the $18 be refunded to me. I also demand a detailed explanation regarding this security vulnerability and that the necessary precautions be taken to prevent this from happening again.
