Hackers Took Over My Facebook Account and Locked Me Out

Up until about three months ago, I was using my Facebook account without any issues, but it was taken over by third parties. My account was accessed without my knowledge or permission, and both my registered email address and password were changed, which means I currently have no access at all to my own account.

Since the account is completely out of my control, I can’t see what actions are being taken or intervene in any way. I have serious security concerns and am worried that my name and profile could be used for misuse or fraudulent activity.

What I expect from Facebook is that my account be urgently reviewed, that the unauthorized access be identified, and that my account be either immediately closed or returned to me through a proper verification process. For security reasons, I am requesting that my account be frozen as soon as possible and that the necessary actions be taken without delay.
