First, turn off the grinder and take out the bean hopper. Clean the hopper well with warm soapy water and air dry.
Next, twist and lift the upper burr off the coffee grinder. Use a hard brush to clean both burrs and get rid of any oils or ground coffee that is left on them. Don't use oily beans because they get stuck in mills faster.
Use a vacuum or brush inside the grinding chamber to get to secret grounds. You can also use cleaning pellets for the grinder to get rid of oil buildup.
Let every part dry completely before putting it back together. Cleaning the grinder every two to three weeks helps keep it clear and ensures that it grinds evenly.
