Clash of Clans matchmaking is based on your trophy count, Town Hall level, and army strength, not random luck.
If you’re constantly matched with maxed players, you’re likely pushing too high in trophies or have upgraded your offense faster than your defenses, making you face stronger bases.
To fix this, drop trophies intentionally by surrendering a few battles until you reach a bracket with similarly leveled players. You can also focus on upgrading your defenses, heroes, and traps to balance your war weight.
According to Supercell’s official support, matchmaking works best when your village progression is balanced and your trophy range reflects your true strength.
These are key solutions that we can offer. If you have more, please share.
