I Would Like All Personal Information Removed From Bumble

I am writing regarding an old Bumble account that I deactivated more than five years ago and no longer use. I do not want to have any dating app account or presence, and I believed my Bumble account and data were long since closed. On 11/09/26 at 4:11 a.m., I received an unsolicited Bumble verification code by SMS on my current phone number, which is registered in England with the Smarty network. Since I did not request this code, it suggests that either someone is trying to access or restart a Bumble account using my details, or that my old account has not been properly deleted. This is worrying and feels like a security and privacy risk for me. When I tried to access the Bumble website for help, the site appeared as restricted, so I could not easily reach support to resolve the issue. I have not attempted to re-open an account and I have not given anyone permission to use my email address or phone number with Bumble. I request that you urgently and permanently delete any and all Bumble accounts and data associated with my email address and my phone number, ensure that there is no active or recoverable profile in my name, and stop any future SMS or verification messages being sent to my number. I also ask that you confirm in writing once this has been fully carried out.
