Frequent Blizzard disconnects are often caused by unstable internet routing, so start by restarting your modem/router and switching from Wi-Fi to a wired Ethernet connection.

You should also disable VPNs or proxies, which Blizzard confirms can cause Battle.net and in-game drops.

Check Blizzard’s official Server Status page for your region to rule out maintenance or outages affecting games like WoW, Diablo, or Overwatch.

If servers are online, run a traceroute or Blizzard’s Looking Glass test to detect packet loss between your ISP and Blizzard servers.

Firewall or antivirus software can interrupt the connection, so whitelist Battle.net and the game executable or temporarily test with security software disabled.

Updating network drivers and flushing DNS (or switching to Google DNS 8.8.8.8) also resolves many recurring disconnect issues reported by global players.

This is the information we have, but if you have more insights from your experience, please share in the comments.
