Zynga Poker Player Accuses Game of Rigging Algorithm to Force Chip Purchases

July 2 11:21 AM

I've been playing Zynga Poker for a long time on my Android phone and through Facebook. The game has turned into a system that uses an algorithm to constantly steer players toward losing, and in doing so, forces people to keep buying chips. No matter how much time and effort you put into the game, the outcome always seems to work like a mechanism built around continuous loss.
This structure both encourages gambling and, after a while, creates what essentially becomes an addiction-like condition. In an environment that people enter for entertainment, I find it extremely disturbing and unethical that users are deliberately made to lose in order to be pushed toward purchasing chips.
I am requesting that Zynga Poker's operations and the algorithm it uses be urgently audited by the relevant authorities, and that the necessary investigations be conducted regarding this system that encourages users to gamble.
