League of Legends Champion Select Error Causes AFK Penalty

I am experiencing a recurring technical issue in the League of Legends champion select screen. While the opposing team is selecting their champions, I receive a “Something went wrong” error on my side. However, the opposing team is able to complete their selections and their timer runs out. Then, suddenly, it appears to be my turn to select, but I am unable to make a selection because the game does not properly register the champion select screen. The system then treats me as though I failed to make a selection.

Because of this issue, the game detects me as AFK and I receive an unfair AFK penalty. The same problem happened again just now, and I was penalized once again. Even though I make an effort to follow the game’s rules and remain active, being punished because of a technical error is unfair and is making me lose interest in the game.

I request that Riot Games thoroughly investigate this error occurring during the champion select screen, review any relevant AFK penalty records on my account if necessary, and implement a technical fix to prevent this issue from happening again.
