Omegletv Matched Me With a Naked User Who Made Violent Threats
On August 21, at around 3:25 AM, while using the video chat feature on Omegletv, I was matched with a user who had Turkey selected as their country. The person who appeared on our screen had red eyes, was lying on a bed, and was completely naked. During the conversation, this person appeared to be under the influence of drugs and made threatening statements such as, “I will cut you with a machete,” “I will cut your face,” and “You are devils.”
We were genuinely frightened and psychologically distressed by these threatening and extremely disturbing actions. We reported the incident to Omegletv afterward, but we want this person to be identified, appropriate action to be taken against them, and measures implemented to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
I request that Omegletv urgently review the chat records from this date and time, identify the user involved, permanently ban the account, and cooperate with the appropriate authorities if deemed necessary. I expect stricter monitoring and faster action against accounts involved in serious threats and inappropriate content.
