I’ve been a loyal Nokian customer since 2017, and over the years I’ve purchased three full sets of tires for my Mercedes Vito. My second set, manufactured in 2021, developed steel belt separation (cord breakage) on both rear tires after only 30,000 kilometers. When I replaced the tires, the tire technician pointed out the issue.
What’s frustrating is that my first set of Nokian Weatherproof tires, which I used for five years, never had such a problem. Despite sending photos, defect reports, and invoices to the importer, I was told that my warranty period had expired, and my claim was rejected.
I’m very disappointed because this issue clearly indicates a quality or durability problem with the newer production batch, and I believe Nokian should stand behind its products, especially given my long-term loyalty to the brand.
