Fake Roblox App "Roblox Desi Tarka" Spotted on Google Play
Today I came across an app called "Roblox desi tarka" on the Google Play Store. The developer email listed is not affiliated with the official Roblox company, and the listed location shows as Pakistan — both of which lead me to believe this app is fake and potentially dangerous. The fact that this app didn't exist yesterday and appeared overnight makes it even more suspicious.
I believe this app — which clearly has no connection to the real Roblox — poses a serious risk of deceiving users into installing malware or surrendering their personal data. Given that millions of children and young people regularly search for Roblox on the Play Store, the likelihood that they could mistake this counterfeit app for the real thing is something I find deeply concerning.
I am urging the Google Play Store to immediately review the app called "Roblox desi tarka" and remove it from the store without delay if it is found to pose a risk to user safety. I am also requesting that Google strengthen its screening and oversight processes to prevent fake and misleading apps like this one from slipping through and harming users.
