GoDaddy Increased the Domain Price After I Searched for It

I experienced a similar issue with GoDaddy, and I wanted to share my experience as a warning to other users.

When I searched for a domain name on GoDaddy, the price initially appeared reasonable. However, after a short time, when I returned to purchase the same domain, the price had increased significantly. Based on my experience, it felt as though simply searching for the domain resulted in a much higher price being displayed later.

I also found the pricing of the so-called "available domains" to be misleading. Domains that appeared to be offered at discounted prices in the search results were no longer available at those prices during checkout. Instead, I was presented with the regular price—or, in some cases, an even higher price than what had originally been displayed.

In my opinion, this pricing practice is misleading and does not create confidence in the purchasing process. This statement reflects my personal experience and is intended solely as a warning to other users who may be considering purchasing a domain through GoDaddy. Based on what I experienced, I recommend paying close attention to the displayed prices before completing a purchase and verifying the final checkout price carefully.
