I was shocked to discover that GetContact associated my name with completely irrelevant and inappropriate tags—labels that have nothing to do with who I am. These tags are not only false, but damaging to my personal and social life. Anyone who looks me up on the app could get the wrong idea based on these misleading labels.
Out of frustration and concern, I deleted my GetContact account. However, I was disturbed to learn that my profile will remain visible for 30 more days. Why should I be exposed that long? Even a credit card cancellation takes 7 days—why does GetContact need 30 days to remove my data?
