About a year ago, I purchased a Faber-Castell Grip 1347 mechanical pencil from a D&R store. Within a short period of time, both the metal tip and the pocket clip began to rust. I was very disappointed because premature rust is not something I would expect from a brand known for producing high-quality writing instruments.

I have always chosen Faber-Castell products because of their reputation for durability and long-lasting quality. However, the rusting on this mechanical pencil has made me question whether the product quality has declined. I have not yet contacted either Faber-Castell or the retailer, but I wanted to report this issue so it can be investigated and similar problems can be prevented in the future.

I would appreciate it if Faber-Castell could replace the defective pencil or inspect it to determine whether there is a manufacturing or material defect. If a production issue is identified, I hope the company will take the necessary steps to improve the product's quality.
