EA FC 26 Player Ratings Feel Inconsistent and Unbalanced in Matches
I have been playing EA Sports FC and FIFA titles on PlayStation for many years, and with FC 26 I continue to experience the same frustrating gameplay balance issues that have existed for several editions of the series. The problem is especially noticeable in Squad Battles, but it also appears in other game modes.
One of the most common issues involves player attributes not behaving as expected during matches. For example, my players may have a Pace rating of 99, while opposing players have significantly lower ratings, sometimes around 70. Despite this large statistical difference, opposing players frequently catch up to my players with ease and perform far beyond what their displayed attributes would suggest. Situations like these make the game's ratings feel inconsistent and undermine the purpose of building and improving a squad.
What makes this even more frustrating is that these incidents are not occasional. They occur repeatedly across multiple matches, difficulty levels, and game sessions. Over the years, this has become a recurring issue rather than an isolated gameplay anomaly. Based on discussions within the community, I believe many other players have experienced similar concerns regarding gameplay balance, player responsiveness, and attribute consistency.
When attempting to seek support or clarification, it is extremely difficult to reach a representative who can directly address these concerns. Players are often redirected between support channels without receiving a clear explanation regarding how gameplay systems operate or whether these issues are being actively investigated. This creates the impression that long-standing community concerns are not being taken seriously.
I respectfully request that EA Sports thoroughly investigate the gameplay balance issues that many players continue to experience in FC 26. In particular, I would like greater transparency regarding how player attributes, AI behavior, and match balancing systems function during gameplay. If there are underlying mechanics affecting performance beyond the visible player ratings, players deserve a clear explanation.
I also encourage EA Sports to communicate more openly with the community regarding these concerns and provide meaningful updates about any planned improvements. As a long-time player of the series, I would like to see a fairer, more consistent, and more transparent gameplay experience that accurately reflects the player ratings and squad-building efforts within Ultimate Team and other modes.
