BGMI matchmaking is unbalanced and unfair — how can I improve pairing?

It can feel unfair in BGMI when the system matches high-rank and low-rank players together. This is probably done to cut down on wait times or make up for games with few players.

To get a more even match, wait in line during busy times when a lot of players of the same rank are online, and play in ranked games where skill-based matching is stricter.

For less mismatch risk, play with friends who are close to your rank instead of random players who are far below or above you.
