Threads Access Denied Error Even Though Instagram Login Works
My Instagram account connected to Threads, with the username “sinichkaaa__,” has been actively used for a long time. About 7 days ago, when I tried to access my Threads profile, I received the following message:
“This action is unavailable. We noticed some unusual activity on your Threads profile, so for security reasons access has been restricted. To restore your profile, please go to the connected Instagram account.”
Since then, I have not been able to access my Threads profile at all.
Even though I can log into my Instagram account on my iPhone without any issues, my access appears to be restricted only on Threads. I cannot find the steps mentioned in the warning message within Instagram to restore my profile through the connected Instagram account, so I do not understand how to regain access to my Threads profile through Instagram. I also submitted a support request, but I have not received any response so far.
I do not believe that I have violated any rules, and I simply want to continue using my account normally. I request that the restriction placed on my Threads profile be removed, that my account be fully restored, and that I be informed about the reason this restriction was applied if possible.
