If the Microsoft Copilot button is missing in your Office apps, make sure you’re signed in with the account that has an active Copilot-enabled Microsoft 365 subscription and that you’re on the Current or Monthly Enterprise Channel (not Semi-Annual), since Copilot won’t show up without a supported license and update channel.
Next, update Office to the latest build, go to File > Account > Update License to refresh your entitlement, and restart the apps so the Copilot icon can appear in the ribbon.
Also check under File > Account > Manage Settings that “Experiences that analyze your content” and “All connected experiences” are enabled — Copilot is hidden if these privacy settings are off.
If none of the above solutions work, please feel free to share your experience. You can also file a complaint on our website.
