Likee Wrongfully Banned My Livestream for Alleged Sexual Content
On April 16, 2025, at approximately 6:57 a.m., I received a livestream violation on the Likee app for alleged "sexual content" during one of my chat broadcasts. However, there was absolutely no inappropriate behavior, explicit content, offensive language, or any other conduct that violated the platform's Community Guidelines. The only thing that happened was that my foot became itchy during the livestream, and I briefly reached down to scratch it. At that exact moment, the system flagged my broadcast and unfairly issued a violation.
As a result of this violation, my account was given a 20-year livestream ban, preventing me from hosting livestreams or even joining public broadcasts with voice. I submitted an appeal through the app and also tried contacting Likee's support team, but I have not received any response or meaningful assistance.
I firmly believe this penalty was caused by a misunderstanding or an incorrect automated moderation decision rather than any actual violation. I respectfully request that my livestream ban be removed in full and that the flagged broadcast be manually reviewed so this mistake can be corrected.
I have been unable to start a live broadcast for over a year on the Likee app due to a stream violation marked as “spam”. I believe this violation is unjust because the streams I made before the violation were only for chatting and I did not share any content that would violate the community rules. Despite contacting the support team through the app, I received no response; neither was the reason clearly explained nor was my appeal considered. Not being able to broadcast for a long time is negatively affecting both my account and my presence on the platform. I request that the spam‑related ban on my account be re‑examined, that the ban be lifted if it was unjustly imposed, and that I be provided with a written, clear explanation.
