Hotmail Two-Step Verification Is Blocking My Account Access
I am unable to sign in to my Hotmail account from a newly purchased device. When I try to log in, Microsoft requires me to verify my identity. However, the verification process only attempts to send a security code to the recovery email address or phone number associated with my account.
Although I can receive the verification code sent to the registered phone number, after entering it I am immediately prompted to verify my identity again by sending a code to the recovery email address. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to that recovery email account. Because I requested multiple verification codes while trying to resolve the issue, the system has now started displaying an error, leaving me completely unable to continue the sign-in process.
Since last night, I have repeatedly attempted to reset my password and regain access to my account, but every attempt ends at the same verification step. Microsoft does not provide any alternative method to verify my identity, and I remain locked out of my account.
I respectfully request that Microsoft remove or update the outdated recovery email address and verification method associated with my account, allow me to verify my identity through an alternative secure process, and enable me to reset my password so that I can regain access to my account as soon as possible.
