Unable to Edit Sims in Sims 4 for a Week – Loading Issue Persists

I’ve been playing Sims 4 for nearly two years, but for the past week, I haven’t been able to edit my Sims. There’s no problem with house building or decorating—I can play that part just fine. However, when I try to load the Sim editing feature, it just shows the loading screen for as long as 30 minutes, but never opens. I’ve tried restarting the game multiple times, but the issue remains. Could this be caused by custom content (CC) breaking the game, or did I install something incorrectly? I’m looking for advice on what might be causing this issue and how to fix it.
