Here are detailed steps to start streaming in just a couple of minutes:
On computer:
Launch Discord and join a voice channel on any server.
At the bottom left, click “Screen” or “Stream.”
Choose either:
An application tab (e.g., a game, browser, Zoom);
Or your entire screen — if you want to show everything happening on your desktop.
Set the desired quality and FPS (60 FPS and 1080p are available with Nitro).
Click “Go Live” — the stream will start, and friends can join through the voice channel.
On phone (Android/iOS):
Enter a voice channel.
Tap the Camera or Screen icon.
Confirm the stream — your device will begin sharing the screen.
💡 Tips:
Make sure you have permission to stream in the chosen voice channel.
When streaming games, Discord automatically detects running games — you can select the one you want from the list.
