Four months ago, I purchased a Bosch WGA 2520TR/56 model washing machine (E-Nr.: WGA25202TR/56, Z-Nr.: 103615). A few days ago, the door gasket of the machine came off on its own. I requested support from the authorized Bosch service in Söke, Aydın, and on 22.09.2026 the service team inspected the machine and claimed that the malfunction was due to user error, demanding ₺4,500 for the repair. I then contacted Bosch customer service to learn why this problem was not considered within the scope of warranty and explained the situation in detail. During the call, I clearly stated that I objected both to the failure being deemed out of warranty and to being asked to pay ₺4,500 for a machine that is only four months old, and that I would exercise my legal rights if necessary. In response, the customer representative stated that they could perform the same repair for ₺1,500, which further undermined my trust in the process. I do not accept that the rupture or detachment of the bellows seal in a washing machine that is only four months old and can still be considered new is attributed to user error, nor do I find the large discrepancy between the ₺4,500 and ₺1,500 quotes acceptable. I also find it unfair that a vague explanation such as “the zipper might have gotten stuck” is used to shift the blame onto me instead of providing a clear and technical justification. I request that this malfunction in the washing machine I purchased trusting the Bosch brand be treated as a warranty issue, that the bellows seal repair be carried out free of charge, and that I receive an apology for the attitude and contradictory price information I encountered during this process.
