If Shorten won’t let you cancel your subscription,
Force the cancellation through the correct channel;
• Cancel from the original payment source;

– Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions → Cancel
– Website → Account → Subscription → Cancel

– Subscriptions must be canceled where you subscribed
– Deleting the app does NOT stop billing
