Valorant Ranked RR System Feels Unfair and Unbalanced

I have been experiencing serious matchmaking balance and toxic player issues in Riot Games’ Valorant ranked matches for the past 2–3 weeks. My username is Peter Parker, and until recently I was Silver 2. Due to the issues I have been experiencing, I have now dropped to Silver 1.

When we lose close matches that remain competitive and balanced until the very end, the system often deducts around -20 RR from me. When I win similarly close matches at the same level, I receive at most +20 RR even when I am the highest-performing player in the match. This has been happening consistently for some time, and despite putting genuine effort into my games, it makes me feel like I am barely making any progress.

In addition, I encounter far too many toxic and disrespectful players in my matches. Players who constantly insult others, sabotage games, and mentally exhaust their teammates completely ruin the gaming experience. Even when these players are reported, I do not see any meaningful deterrent, while the ranked points system continues to feel like it disproportionately punishes players who are trying to play seriously.

I request that the ranked rating system be made fairer and more transparent, and that the penalties and enforcement measures for toxic players be reviewed to make them more effective. I have enjoyed playing this game for a long time, and I want the necessary improvements to be made so that players who invest their time and effort can compete in a fairer environment.
