My spouse bought the Tefal GV8976 Pro Express model iron four or four and a half years ago, claiming it was the best. The iron broke down in February. On March 29, 2023, I took it to Ebru Technical Authorized Service in Izmir. The service informed me that there was a boiler problem and that the repair would cost 1650 TL. I reluctantly paid the bill for the repair. However, the iron stopped receiving power less than a month later. I returned it to Ebru technical service, and this time they discovered cable and circuit board problems, costing me an additional 2500 TL. When I contacted the service center, they directed me to customer service, who then redirected me back to the service center, in a game of blame. Now I'm wondering if Tefal can tell me what the total repair cost of 4150 TL for a so-called small household appliance iron with a boiler is. Is it just a coincidence that these other problems occurred so soon after the boiler was repaired? Is this the same iron that my wife trusted your brand for? Personally, I'd rather spend that money on a new iron, but it appears that no iron, not even a frying pan, should be purchased from you. Furthermore, my spouse has recognized it. Now, either return your boiler and refund my money, or give me a fully functional iron. Your actions are unethical and a disgrace to the trusting customers.
